How to support Research with Theoretical and Conceptual Frameworks

Theoretical Framework

Imagen
A theoretical framework consists of concepts and, together with their definitions and reference to relevant scholarly literature, existing theory that is used for your particular study. The theoretical framework must demonstrate an understanding of theories and concepts that are relevant to the topic of your research paper and that relate to the broader areas of knowledge being considered. Purpose 1.To test theories. 2.To make research findings meaningful and generalizable. 3.To establish orderly connections between observations and facts. 4.To predict and control situations. 5.To stimulate research. The theoretical framework strengthens the study in the following ways :   1.An explicit statement of  theoretical assumptions permits the reader to evaluate them critically. 2.The theoretical framework connects the researcher to existing knowledge. Guided by a relevant theory, you are given a basis for your hypotheses and choice of research methods. 3

1.Make an Observation                                                   Scientists are naturally curious about the world. While many people may pass by a curious phenomenon without sparing much thought for it, a scientific mind will take note of it as something worth further thought and investigation. 2. Form a Question After making an interesting observation, a scientific mind itches to find out more about it. This is in fact a natural phenomenon. If you have ever wondered why or how something occurs, you have been listening to the scientist in you. In the scientific method, a question converts general wonder and interest to a channelled line of thinking and inquiry. 3. Form a Hypothesis                                                     A hypothesis is an informed guess as to the possible answer of the question. The hypothesis may be formed as soon as the question is posed, or it may require a great deal of background research and inquiry. The
